Oxnard’s 2026 Trash Rates Include One No-Extra-Charge Bulky Item Pickup Each Year

OXNARD — November 2, 2026. Oxnard’s solid-waste department publishes rates effective July 1, 2026, and includes one annual curbside collection of up to five bulky household items without an extra service charge.

What a standard monthly account costs

The city lists $41.69 for 64-gallon refuse-cart service and $50.25 for 96-gallon service, including recycling and organics carts. Fees for extra carts and service calls are posted separately.

Large-item collection

The annual included bulky pickup covers up to five household items. The city lists a further $47.74 for an additional bulky-item request of up to five items, and $29.78 for certain extra return trips.

Before arranging disposal

Call Environmental Resources at 805-385-8060 to schedule service and confirm what items are eligible. Appliances, hazardous chemicals and construction waste may have different rules. The city says weekly cart collection can occur between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m.
